Welcome to Many Happy Reigns. These terms explain how ordering a handmade crown works and set out the agreement between us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

In these terms, "I", "me" and "my" refer to Many Happy Reigns, run by Louisa Kane (louisamkane19@gmail.com). "You" refers to the person placing the order.

1. About the crowns

Every crown is handmade to order and personalised to your choices. Because each one is made by hand, small natural variations in colour, stitching and finish are normal and part of the charm. The live preview on the website is a guide only and may differ slightly from the finished crown.

2. Placing an order

When you submit an order request through the website, this is not yet a confirmed order — it's a request. I'll review it and get back to you to confirm the design, the full price and the timings. A binding order is formed only once I've confirmed your order and you've paid your deposit (see section 3).

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices start from £25 and depend on the options you choose. I'll confirm the full price with you before any payment is due.
  • To confirm your order and begin work, I'll ask for a 50% deposit. Your slot is reserved once the deposit is paid.
  • The remaining balance is due before your crown is dispatched.
  • Payment is made via bank transfer. I never see or store your card or bank details.

4. Cancellations, changes and refunds

  • Before I start making your crown: you can cancel or change your order at any time, and I'll refund your deposit in full.
  • Once I've started making your crown: because it's personalised especially for you, it can't be cancelled or refunded. Personalised and made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — but the cancellation window above is offered as a goodwill policy.
  • If you spot a mistake in your order, tell me as soon as possible and I'll do my best to help before work begins.

This does not affect your legal rights if a crown is faulty or not as described (see section 5).

5. Faulty or incorrect crowns

I want you to love your crown. If it arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact me within 14 days with a photo if possible. In line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I'll offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Please note that issues caused by normal wear, or by not following the care guidance, aren't covered.

6. Delivery

  • I currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
  • Delivery costs £3.50 and typically takes 3–5 business days once your crown is finished and dispatched.
  • Delivery timescales are estimates and aren't guaranteed, as posting is handled by third-party couriers. If you need your crown for a specific date, please tell me when you order.
  • Please make sure your delivery address is correct — I can't be responsible for items sent to an address you've given incorrectly.

7. Photos and your content

If you provide your Instagram handle, you're welcome to share photos of your crown. With your consent, I may follow you and reshare your photos on my own social media to showcase my work. You can ask me not to, or to remove a shared photo, at any time by emailing me.

8. My content

All photos, designs and content on the website belong to Many Happy Reigns and may not be copied or reused without my permission.

9. Liability

Crowns are decorative items intended for dressing-up and celebration. They are not toys for unsupervised young children and may contain small parts. Please supervise children when wearing them. I'm not liable for misuse, or for any loss that wasn't reasonably foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits my liability where the law doesn't allow it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
